삼체 3. 사신의 영생👉 Note that the English edition of the book adopts a more interpretative approach, focusing on the broader implications of Say's character and her influence, rather than the literal details. In the Chinese version, the text is more direct and explicit in its dialogue: Luo Ji recalls that Say was a beautiful woman. Cheng Xin remembers her whispering into her ear after a presentation, complimenting her on having a beautiful voice. (Even when she makes her first appearance in the 2nd book, some descriptions are either omitted or altered in the English translation. I'm not a big fan of translators taking too many liberties.)
The Korean edition closely follows the Chinese version.

“Don’t worry,” she said to her two human friends. “As long as I’m alive, no harm will come to you.”The Korean Edition translates the first sentence into "박사님에겐 살아야 할 책임이 있어요," which is somewhat off from the original and sounds corny. In fact, the original means just the opposite. In this case, the English edition is more faithful to the original text.
